Live Streaming Production

From the on-site live feed to a finished broadcast.

Your on-site broadcast company captures the event and sends the live contribution feed to Stream Digital. We receive it into our decoder, bring the decoded video and audio into our production environment, build the complete live programme and deliver the finished stream to your audience.

The Complete Workflow

We take over once the live feed leaves the venue.

The on-site broadcast company remains focused on capturing the event. Once their encoded live contribution feed reaches Stream Digital, our workflow takes over — decoding the signal, producing the broadcast, adding the presentation elements you require and delivering the final programme through the live-streaming infrastructure to your branded platform.

01 Receiving the Live Feed

The handover from the venue to Stream Digital.

The event is filmed by the on-site broadcast company. Their live output is encoded for contribution and sent to Stream Digital, where it is received by our decoder.

The decoder converts that incoming feed back into production-ready video and audio. From there, the signal is brought into our live production environment, where we can take control of the programme presentation.

Clear division of responsibility The on-site team captures the event. Stream Digital handles the production, presentation, streaming delivery and viewer experience from the point the live feed reaches us.
01 On-site Broadcast Company

Cameras and production at the venue create the live programme feed.

02 Encoded Contribution Feed

The live feed is encoded and sent from the venue to Stream Digital.

03 Stream Digital Decoder

We receive and decode the feed into usable live video and audio.

How It Works

One connected route from venue to viewer.

From the moment the on-site contribution feed reaches us, each stage is managed as part of one live workflow.

01

Live Feed Arrives

The on-site broadcast company sends its encoded live contribution feed to Stream Digital.

02

Decode

Our decoder turns the incoming feed back into production-ready live video and audio.

03

Production

We build the programme, adding graphics, scoreboards, video inserts and overlays when required.

04

Stream & Distribute

The finished programme is sent into our live-streaming infrastructure for reliable delivery at scale.

05

Your Audience Watches

Subscribers and PPV customers watch the live event through your branded streaming platform.

02 The Production Layer

The live feed becomes a complete broadcast.

Once the decoded pictures and audio enter our production environment, we can build the live programme around the event. This is where the incoming feed becomes a polished, branded broadcast rather than simply a raw camera output.

The production can be configured around your organisation and the event. Elements can be prepared in advance and triggered live by our operator at the appropriate point in the programme.

01Live Scoreboards

Display scores, clocks and other match or event information within the live picture.

02Intro & Holding Videos

Open the stream with branded content and use prepared video while viewers wait for the event to begin.

03Half-Time / Interval Content

Keep viewers engaged during breaks with pre-prepared features, interviews or promotional video.

04Graphics & Overlays

Add lower thirds, sponsor graphics, information panels and other visual elements when required.

03 The Finished Programme

The finished production becomes one broadcast-ready output.

The finished programme contains the live pictures, audio, graphics and video inserts together. The audience receives one consistent stream rather than a collection of separate production elements.

  • Consistent presentation from the opening screen to the final whistle
  • Branding and graphics built around your organisation
  • Live action and scheduled video content combined in one programme
  • A broadcast designed for subscribers, members and PPV audiences
Streaming Delivery

From our production output to your viewers.

Once the final programme has been produced, the stream enters our delivery infrastructure. The distribution layer handles the live ingest, delivery to viewers and the playback path into your branded Stream Digital platform.

01

Final Programme Feed

The completed live programme is output exactly as your viewers should see it.

02

Live Ingest & Processing

03
